What is a Risk Assessment?
A Risk Assessment (RA) is a survey performed on your property to evaluate possible dangerous areas in your environment which have a high potential to cause harm. It is a careful examination of what in your home, workplace, church, or school, could reasonably cause harm to people or to your business.
It is a first step in protecting yourself, your family, your workers, and your community members.
It is a proactive step to assist you in making changes which will result in protecting your most valuable assets.
Accidents, injuries, and attacks can ruin lives and affect your family, business, and schools. They can result in higher insurance costs, legal fees, medical bills, and loss of revenue.
5 Steps to every Assessment:
• 1 – Identify hazards
• 2 – Decide who might be harmed and how
• 3 – Evaluate the risks and decide on actions to take
• 4 – Document your findings and implement changes
• 5 – Review and update regularly
